Compose message
I noticed that when you click Compose message link, the compose window is not wide enough, therefore Browse button, which is needed to add attachment, is not visible (I am using Mozilla). I need to open Compose message in new window where Browse button is available. It is annoying, but don't forget that Gmail is still in beta.

Spam counter
Another new feature - from today counter of new (unread) messages in Spam folder is displayed.
Adverts pt. 2
From today on my account ads are displayed below the messages. I do not know what to think about it. Seems it is better. There is more space on the screen for the message content. I have to get used to it.

Draft, when?
Nowadays we can't save unfinished message as Draft to edit it at later time. But we can't create labels Draft or Drafts. System error message "System specific label names are not allowed" is displayed. That means that Drafts will be available some day. The question is - when?
Gmail Java API
Thanks to this project communication between Java applications and Gmail account is possible. Gmailer for Java utility is also available.

Filters
Lets say that you want to create filter which will recognize your friends' emails and move them to label Friends. Unfortunately we can't type them all in From: field. We can do it another way - if your friends put their email addresses in signatures just type in the field Has the words: address1 OR address2 etc. It's not the best way to achieve this and I hope in the future there will be a possibility to write more addresses in From: field.

Invite scam
Recently Gmail users receive messages offering a batch of invites. All you need do is to fill the online form with your username and password. Beware! It is a trap to take control of your account! Google do not send such mails. More about this topic on CNET.

Troubles with invitations
It seems that the invitation system has a glitch. Invitations cannot be used because Gmail claims that the invite link is already used. There are two possibilities:
First answer is correct one.
- Error in the invite system.
- Invite generators actually exist.
First answer is correct one.

Buglist
If you have troubles with your Gmail account check this site with known issues. Also it is a good idea to read Gmail help thoroughly.

Adverts
One user of Gmail noticed that Adverts started to be displayed below messages. On my account nothing has changed yet. Ads are displayed on the right side. I hope it will stay this way.

Invitation link
Once again Invitation Link has changed its position. This time it is visible only when we are in Inbox folder. I don't like its dark blue colour. IMHO last position under Labels was a way better. I wonder if this is the last change.
Returning Labels
If you are deleting Label do not forget to change its filter. If you don't do that that Label will return as soon as new message that meets a label's criteria arrive.

Conversations, character encoding
Unfortunately the way how the conversations work isn't very good. Change of the subject in reply is enough to break whole thread. I think this should be done another way - maybe Gmail should use messages' id? When you are corresponding internationally you will get different default reply subjects and it can make a lots of trouble. BTW: Gmail encodes outgoing messages in UTF-8 format, so when your email client do not support it you are in trouble. But what is Thunderbird for? :).
