New features

Today some accounts got these new features:

• switchable view: standard or basic html (this way Gmail is working on old browsers)
• integration with Picasa photo manager
  

Gmail tour

There is Gmail tour made in flash available on this site. Those without Gmail account can view it and decide if Gmail is worth getting an invite. Shame that this tour is little outdated.

Grand opening soon?

Last year there was a form on Gmail site where you could subscribe news about Gmail. Just today Google send first message about it with included invitation to Gmail and a promise of new features. Does this mean that great Gmail opening will happen soon?

Date format

Today date format has changed on my account to year/day/month. I rather would like to see it in more Polish style (day/month/year).

gDrive

gDrive is a set of php scripts which will help you to use full storage of Gmail. Author claims that the file size is limited to 999 MB.

Invite flood

A big wave of invites is at isnoop. According to its stats there are 1507321 invites available. It is all possible thanks to generosity of Google - every Gmail user has received 50 invites. Anyway still there are auctions with invitations on eBay. I do not understand why people are willing to pay for the invite...
P.S.
It seems that it was just a glitch in isnoop stats because few days later number of invites decreased 10 fold.

Autodelete pt. 4

I just noticed that autodelete in Trash folder is not working once again. My oldest message is from 10th October.

Come on, this is silly - once again Invite link has changed its position. Also it looks different.
