Export your contacts

On some accounts new feature has been enabled - exporting of contacts in the following formats:

• Gmail CSV (UTF-8 encoding) - saved in Gmail format
  
• Outlook CSV (language preferences encoding) - saved in Outlook format
  

To save your contacts' information press Export link in Contacts section.

Gmail endangered?

According to The Register British Independent International Investment Research claims that it has rights to Gmail trademark. The value of the trademark is £25m to £34m. Google already lost similar case in Germany.

Gmail for students

Students of US universities can receive free Gmail invitation from this site
http://services.google.com/university/. Filling a form and email account in .edu domain is required.

Switching off displaying of images

When we accepted to always display images from particular sender we couldn't switch it off later.
Now we can do it by using Don't display from now on. link which appears in the message window after clicking More options.

New languages

Thanks to the work of volunteer translators Gmail is available in Romanian. Number of supported languages is 38.

Google released new version of its Toolbar with Gmail support.
