Google Mail in UK

Because of trademark issue from today Gmail in the UK is called Google Mail. New users will receive addresses in googlemail.com domain.

Check spelling

In Compose Message window new arrow button appeared next to Check spelling option link. It allows to choose the language of spelling module. This way we can use full featured Gmail (which is available in English US only) and write messages in different language, eg Polish. Check spelling is available in 30 languages.

More new features

Following new features have been enabled:

• in Compose Message window after clicking More options name of the domain from the mail have been sent is displayed (eg Mailed-By: wp.pl)
• also there is new option link entitled Message text garbled? which will display in new window the content of the message received along with its header info and formatting

All those new functions are available in English US language settings only.

Auto-save

Gmail received new feature - auto-save. This way we won't lose our edited message when our computer reboot or we lost Internet connection.
